Hi everyone! I recently purchased a amd r9 295x2 so i can run 4k on the new asus pb287q monitor and am currently having an issue with the setup. On the asus pb287q the only connections are hdmi and display ports, which would normally be okay, however the r295x2 has these 4 small ports on the rear and 1 dvi port... which leaves me in a bit of confusion. i connected the monitor to the gpu via a hmdi to dvi converter and also did a display port connection to the mobo ( from the monitor). Any help would be appreciated!!

OEMs can change the ports on GPUs so we will need to know exactly what GPU you have from which maker to know for sure, but its likely a mini display port connection.

The 295x2's actually share the same designs from almost all the manufactures, minus ones like the DEVIL 13.
They carry one DVI port and 4 Mini DP ports.

This is to help bypass the FPS cap on HDMI ports.
