Hi, I've recently purchased a new Asus Strix 970 geforce card for my computer which i currently have a AMD 4100 overclocked to 4.4Ghz from 3.6Ghz.
I'm thinking of upgrading this to an Intel i7-4790k and a MSI Z97-G45 to fit the processor. This will be my first time with an Intel processor, does this sound like an alright upgrade or would it not be worth it?

Thanks in advance for any advice
Michael
