Hi People...

I would be glad if you could help me out...

I am highly confused whether my Motherboard supports a graphic card range on DDR5 in DDR3..

I have chosen FireproV4900 & GTX 750 Ti for my workstation.. I have already asked our community to choose this graphic card.. But I doubt that whether it works well with my motherboard or not..??

If there is any changes i would like to go for that..

Solution
first off, just to clear the confusion (if any)
your board supports ddr3, BUT, that is different to the VRam that the gpu has (which is usually gddr5)
the basic requirements for the gpu is, first and foremost the interface. A pci-e gpu (all gpu's today uses this, old old ones use AGP) would require a board that also has pci-e. 2nd thing is power, you have to have a decent psu to support the gpu's need for power, this is very very important esp with power hungry (high end) cards). 3rd is space, this applies to cases that are small.

now, your board has: 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 , so it will work.

just think of it this way, if the ddr3 on the board is related to what gpu you could use, then we won't be able to use the (g)ddr5 gpu's since we are...

hope this helps somehow

Definitely, your answer helps me a lot..
But i also want to know which of the above graphic cards performs well in 3ds Max & Maya.. I am going for a professional, but still can't settle up with better performance of what i need...
