Have you been updating the Drivers? Also try playing with Catalyst Control Center turned off. I had that same card and for a time it was quite crash happy in GW2 sometimes 3-4 times per night.

If that doesnt work for you then a 750TI would be a modest improvement and 760 would be a major jump.

GTX 750 Ti 2GB $129

GeForce GTX 760 4GB $199

Drivers have been update and what do you mean by ccc off? I even tried turning off the overclock and it would still crash. For a new graphics card i was looking more for a radeon r9 270x what do you think of that and if something is better let me know.

A very competent card and a bit cheaper than the 760 but be aware you may still have issues with AMD drivers.

Depends on if you don't care about a Warranty? Some companies are sketchy on only allowing the Warranty to cover the original purchaser. To get around this ask for a Receipt and if something goes wrong you can RMA and claim it was a Gift. I've really never had any issues with used stuff, I've built many systems from parts off Ebay, Craiglist and Tech Forums. The only thing I will never buy used is a Power Supply.

I found a gigabyte r9 280x and in its description it says to have a 650watt power supply or above. I dont have that and mines only 500watt.
