I'm thinking of buying a GTX 970 for my current build (my first):
i5-4690k
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB 2133 MHz
Gigabyte Z97-HD3
Coolmax ZX 600W PSU (yes, I know its kinda crap, but the Corsair CX 600 was horrible)

My concern is that my current monitor: Samsung P2370HD (60hz), will make me have serious screen tearing issues. I currently don't have a GPU installed, but the games I have run with the Intel HD 4600 (CoD: WaW, Mount and Blade: Warband) have shown some screen tearing. I'm afraid that getting a new GPU won't get me the buttery smooth 1080p Ultra settings gaming experience I want. Any opinions, suggestions? All of this is coming from a PC noob so please bear with me as I have only just gotten into PC building.
