Hey guys, so I haven't done much research into BitCoin yet. I'm interested, and it sounds like it could be useful for making some extra money...if it's fast enough. Before I go any further, I was wondering how fast this rig would be able to mine a coin (in terms of days, weeks, months, years, etc.):
XFX Radeon 7970 Double D 3GB
Intel i5-4670 (3.4 GhZ)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
650 Watt PSU (if it matters).
Thanks!

I would suggest you don't do it as Bitcoins become more and more rare and their market price is slowly but surely dropping (if not, it WILL drop someday). You could mine for a year, 24/7 and only get 1 Bitcoin. If you're buying the rig only to mine, I suggest you don't. It'll be good for gaming, though.

Well, if you already have the card, you can do some mining, but make sure that it'll pay for the electricity used.
