SATA Mode option is not available in Bios

Dear All,
I am using sony vaio e series laptop model no SVE15115EN. I want to change my OS to Windows Xp for some special softwares. I know for installing Xp first i need to change the SATA mode to IDE in BIOS. But SATA mode option is not coming in BIOS. Please suggest

Some dont have either and some are on AHCI by default. You'll find out if you try and install XP without SATA drivers slipstreamed

It'll crash

Yup because it doesnt have SATA drivers on the CD. Only way youre going to do that is slipstream them in another PC with XP on it

Well like I said you need a working PC with XP on it. Or install Vista windows 7 or 8. These have SATA drivers on the DVD

Sir,currently i am using windows 7 only, i have installed sata driver also. but then also sata mode option is not coming

Like I said you cant do anything if its not in the BIOS. You'll have to use Vista Windows 7 or 8 not XP
