ed up. I tried to install win 7 and remove win 8 from a third party store. not only did it not work, but now my Toshiba ultra book freezes at the starting windows screen. I'm lost. Did win 8 come with your ultrabook? If so, try to find a recovery cd or recovery partition. It can most of the time be accessed by pressing a specific key BEFORE windows starts booting. If you can't find it, please provide the model number of your ultrabook.
