Hi everyone,

I am new to the world of building my own gaming pc.
I was hoping someone could advise me on a tried and tested build. One that is well tested and a great starting point for a new builder, my budget is somewhere between $1000 and $1250.
I live in south east asia so parts availability may be a problem but will do my best.

I have looked at the quarterly builds but im a bit intimidated by them.

If i have missed out any details please let me know :)

Thanks
Jay

If you aim for the best bang for buck, do not need to OC, never going to plan using the iGPU and do not plan to SLI.
These 3 are really recommended.
E3-1231V3
H97 mobo (I recommed ASUS H97 pro)
GTX970 (Any good brands like MSI, Gigabyte, etc. should do tthe trick)

Try looking for the components you can find and post them here.
We do not know how things on your side, it is useless if we recommend things you can not find.

fixing? if you done OC correctly I see no reason that your rig will brake apart or have a shortened live span.

If i can get a better build for less money that would be great, just looking for the best bang for buck system that is known to be stable and the components work well together.

I dont really want to be always fixing my first computer :)
