Hi. I've started to become an avid gamer of ArmA 2 and ArmA 3 and it really bothers me to play with 20 FPS, but when I look at benchmarks these people get around 40-60 FPS, not a lot but would be nice. I've tried to do some different launch settings which apparently give everyone else twice as many FPS, with me as an exception... This is a thing that really bothers me, I don't have any issues playing Planetside 2 on ultra with around 60 FPS.

My PC Specs:
CPU: i5-3570K
GPU: MSI GTX 760 2GB
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme 6
Storage: 1 TB HDD 7200 RPM
Ram: 8GB 1600MHz
OS: Windows 7

Try updating your GPU's drivers. Those are decent specs and should be able to run ArmA 2.

Try playing around with the video settings. Maybe lowering the resolution and disabling Anti-Aliasing would help.

I have long term experience in the Arma community, and I'll be the first to tell you that it's different for everyone. My laptop with a 650M gets 30-60fps on high settings in multiplayer. However, Arma is a CPU based game so a high quality processor is necessary. Your specs are pretty good.

Try using Geforce Experience, it optimized Arma 2 and 3 pretty well. Also, are these frames you're getting in multiplayer or single player? Huge difference as multiplayer takes a lot more out of your system.

For some reason I run Arma 3 better, but when I run Arma 3 on singleplayer it's around 30 FPS on Altis. Arma 2 Multiplayer around 20 fps if I am flying in a helicopter at around 1000-15000 meters I get 40 fps...

I will try using GeForce Experience

Do you have any suggestions?

3D and Interface resolution should be off. Shadows, Post processing, and VSync off. Video memory default. Try that.

Geforce Experience work?

All off, well with an exception of 3D and Interface res, if I turn that off or set it to lowest it is all pixelated.
GeForce Experience didn't really work. I went on singleplayer and noticed I get from 50 fps as lowest and 120 fps as highest... What happens on multiplayer...

You think 50fps is low? That's above average for arma 2. Leave 3d res at 100%.

No no no. I play multiplayer with 20-30 fps but singleplayer I play 50-120 fps, whilst 50 is under heavy load. If I could get 50 fps on multiplayer I would be happy
