Hello everyone! I am saving up to build a computer for roughly $2000 and would like feedback on my current parts list. I will be gaming programming, and video editing. In addition, I would like a recommendation on a monitor. I would love to use a 4k monitor if possible.

Solution
Mostly a solid build.

Although some points that I would make changes.

1. There is no point to getting the H80i, equivalently priced air cooling like the Noctua NH D14/D15 perform better and quieter.

2. I would STRONGLY suggest you aim for 16GB of RAM (in 4x 4GB config or ), content creation benefits substantially from quad channel and more RAM.

3. The WD black HDDs are very much overpriced, any 7200RPM HDD will do the job and cost AT LEAST 25% cheaper.

4. VERY IMPORTANT, get a better PSU, the CX series isn't great.

There is a tiered list, stick to tier 1, 2a and 2b.

1 970 will max games for 1-2 years. Then, when prices will have dropped, get another one.
I think everyone would agree with my build here.
