Hi,
I'm planning on upgrading my graphics card but since this is the first time I actually install something in my computer and I got several doubts about it.

The card I have in mind is the Nvidia Geforce GTX 770.

Is my motherboard capable of running/fitting it. The motherboard I have is the "H-Joshua-H61-uATX" from foxconn, I got it with the pre-built system I bought from HP.
I found out that this motherboard has only a PLC express x16 (2.0 gen)
Will the GTX fit and run in that expansion slot?

I figure I have to change power supply too for the card since mine is a 300W.

The link below directs to the HP page listing all my system components, I supposed everything else should be fine but I'm really not sure about the motherboard.

Thanks
F. Arduini

Edit: my current graphic card is Nvidia Geforce GT 640.

the gtx 770 will fit work as long as you change the power supply which you already acknowledge... as long as you have a pci express slot on a motherboard any card will work just fine

Hi there, that mobo is ok for GTX 770. For the supply you should buy a decent 500-600W PSU. My strong recommendation is one from Seasonic, for ex. Seasonic S12II-620. Good enough.
