Hi Everyone!

This is just a mere question. But who knows, this might be useful in the near future.

Okay, so I have an imaginary setup. Let's say an..
AMD A10-7850k on a Gigabyte F2A88XN-WiFi, and a HyperX Fury ram clocked at 1600MHz.

I am wondering if the Fury will be automatically OC'd to 1866MHz because it is what Kingston stated on their Fury ram. Or will it OC more, probably at 2133MHz clock and up?

Any help will be apprciated.

Thanks in advance!

You will probably have to go into bios to set ram speed.

It doesn't always OC automatically , it's EASY to set the XMP profile in the BIOS under Dram settings.

Thanks for the quick response!

Its sad. But would it take time to manually set the RAM freq, probably at 2133MHz?
And what is the XMP? What do it do?

XMP sets the memory profiles for you in the BIOS , takes 2 mouse clicks.
