Usually when I overclock my gpu I don't mess with the voltage, however I recently got a 970 and decided to give it a go. At the moment everything seems fine (at least with benchmarking) temps are really low (max 62 Degrees) as well as the power % (max 87) I'm sitting at 1578 core clock speed and 3702 memory clock speed and I've increased my voltage by 43mV so far.

I'm quite unfamiliar with the voltage aspect as people generally say just watch the temperature. So my questions are;

Is temperature the only thing to be concerned about when increasing the voltage?

Am I safe to continue increasing it (if needed) or am I pushing it too far?

anything else you think I might need to know feel free to tell me, thank you.

I use Afterburner and have these settings for my 970:

+ 87 mv
+110 % power
+200 core
+250 mem

My temps are good too.

I've kept my OC on my old cards for over a year. Seemed fine.

The important thing is the temp. By supplying more power you are adding more heat. The more power and OC the higher heat.

The 970s OC really well and don't require a lot of power to begin with.
