R9-280 < R9-280X / R9-285 < R9-290 < R9-290X < GTX970 (Best bang for the buck might be the 290X right now with the recent price drops, and the poor availability of GTX970s)

280X and the 285 traded blows depending on title in Tom's benches.

Currently it's not my intention to be this turkey that you speak of.

I asked a friend to get me the R9 285 in china and he told me that at the moment the shop that he went to only had the R9 285x.

I don't really know much about this stuff, that's why i wouldn't know if it's out or not. Thanks though -for informing me. I guess this guy probably made a mistake.
