I chose the z97 this time instead of the x99 in my previous thread, Reason for this is that the z97 will support the 5th gen Cores.

What do you guys think? This is going to be for massive coding and editing sooo... I need the I7, I do not plan to OC until further down the line so I decided to just keep the K CPU.

Any critique is fine, thanks!

I would be more looking at the 6 core 5820K with a X99 board, DDR4 memory.

Great build, I agree with most of it.

I prefer Asus or ASRock, from personal experience of horrid customer service and DOA board. The Z-97A is closer to that price point of your current mobo, however if it was me I'd splurge a bit and grab a Maximus VII Hero.

I'd also recommend the Noctua DH-14, I personally have the U14S which is a bit more expensive but it's a great cooler.

CPU, GPU, PSU, and Headphones (I have the 360s-love them) are all what I would pick as well.

Besides what I mentioned about the mobo, why not just grab a 1TB HDD or SSHD! Something to toss files on or games, always nice to have more space. I recommend anything Seagate has to offer.

I feel like having a 1TB SSD will get me better boot in and speed for my system.

Here is the semifinal outcome, what do you think? I used snipers as you have recommended. Question is, should I go back to phanteks or stay with this noctua? Forgot that I am going to be video editing and 3D modeling, so I added in a 2X8 GB kit

The Phanteks and Noctua cool exactly the same but the Noctua is a tad quieter.

I never meant to switch out your SSD, I meant an addition.

Follow Blackbirds build then.

I feel as if 2 Hybrid's with 2TB 7200rpm 64MB cache is good enough for what I need now :p
