Do hard drives start clicking due to power cut problems? Anyways to fix it and get my data back?? Or does WD covers up my data in warranty ?

A hard drive that is making new noises is probably a dying hard drive. Save what you can to a different drive.

No, WD (or any other drive maker) warranty does NOT cover your data. Only a replacement drive.

Attach it to another machine. See what happens.

Hi there ruchir_ezio,

It will be good to provide some more information like: Is the drive internal or external? Is the clicking sound continuous? Is it recognized by BIOS and Disk Management?

It will be a good idea to try connecting the drive with a different cable to another port.

As USAFRet mentioned, WD warranty does not cover data recovery. If your drive is nowhere to detected, there may be some physical damage. In the data on the drive is important, I would advise you to contact one of WD's Data Recovery Partners.
