Two different Nvidia 970s, help me tell the difference please

Both are by Gigabyte (click specifications in link)

We got the GIGABYTE GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD:

And the GIGABYTE GV-N970WF3OC-4GD:

I can see that the first one has higher clocks, but the second one got "OC" in it's name, so I thought that would be the one with the higher clocks, is there any difference at all other than the first one being faster?

The G1 uses better binned chips that can sustain higher overclocks. Its cooler is slightly different.

Performance wise they are not very different.

Apparently it is fairly common for the G1 to have coil whine, wonder if the Rev.1 got it fixed or something
