Hello!
I have just put together a PC and am currently doing some overclocking. here are my specs.

i5 4690K
Asus Z97-A
Corsair Vengence 2x8 1866mhz
Cooler Master 212 evo
evea 750 PSU
Nvidia GT 760
Samsung 840 evo 128G

I am using the AI suite to overclock my system and it all works fine up t0 4.5mhz.

After that it shuts down and should run directly into the Fan xpert. but when i reboot it starts over clocking again. At this point it runs me up to 4.8mhz and shuts down. but when it reboots, my computer starts up normally but my monitor will go back to sleep after the windows icon. the welcome screen never shows up. my computer runs like normal though.

That being said i am very happy with where my computer is at right now, and i don't want to upgrade anything right now so im fine with it running where it is at, but if anyone has any quick fixes with this system to prevent the monitor shut down that would be exellent.

BTW my monitor is HP S2331 23 inch LED. and i am using a VGA cable.

Solution
on asus and some mb with ipgpu if the over clock fails it can turn the ipogpu on and make it the main video output. reboot the pc and when window video goes bye bye plug the video cable onto the mb video port if the video comes back then your issue is a bios setting. go into the bios set the priamny display to peg/pci and turn off muilt minitor if your using just your gpu. if the error still there drain power from the mb and clear the cmos.
