Hi everyone I have the Z97 pro and am just quickly wondering if this cheap ram with a heat spreader , first is actually decent and second will actually work with this mobo.

Yes it'll work with the MoBo. I'm not really sure of the quality, should be fine on stock but OCing the sticks may not be as good. Crucial/ Corsair/ G.Skill/ ADATA/ Patriot/ Mushkin for RAM is my choice. Consider this for $10 more:

^Much more reliable IMO.

Team Dark is fair at best , stick with Gskill , best in the memory business.

G.Skill: Ares/ RJZ/ RJX/ RJ/ Sniper.
Crucial Ballistix: all.
I'd go for Crucial sticks from the choices.
