I'm trying to build my first gaming PC with a budget of $400-$500 and I saw this gaming bundle on Newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?I...

Is this bundle worth it? If not whats the best I can get for under $500. I want a graphics card as good as the R9 270. Planning to play on 1080p and sometimes 768p with high settings on latest games. Don't plan on overclocking but would like to have the option if possible, not very important. Thanks!

I wouldn't trust the board and the PSU.

Reason for this is that the PSU is untiered so I do not know how it would handle and Biostar has been known to be ok at the boards they make.

You have a 83% Go ahead, but I have no idea how it will turn out for you.

Just pray you get great working parts :)

The power supply , ram , and motherboard are fair at best.

the build not bad..dont know about the power supply the issue with the fx cpu it a dead cpu slot and line. if your going to play with the same rig till it dies it not a bad price but other then swapping the 6300 for an 8 core cpu that about it.

Any builds with better PSU and MOBO that I can get for under $500?

You are saving $56 over buying the parts individually.
That is fine if you would have bought exactly those parts.
But, more likely, there are better options for the motherboard, psu, and ram(looks like a 1 stick )

Since few games can use more than 2-3 cores, you may find that a FX-4300 would be just as good, and a i3-4130 based pc may be better.
Here are two articles to read:

There is another intriguing option, the G3258, a $70 cpu that can match even a i7-4790K when only two cores are needed.
That might let you budget more for the graphics card which is the main engine for gaming.

Through further analysis the board has receiver 4/5 stars (ok)
PSU as well 4/5 (Ok)

This seems to be a good ahead, you have my blessing.
