Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations on Nvidia GPU OC software.

I am not very impressed so far with offerings from card manufacturers; I find their UI's to be cumbersome (I'm looking at you EVGA Precision).

I find the flashy skins to be annoying; I don't need my OC tool to be covered with knobs and dials, flashing colors. It doesn't need to look "cool", it just needs to be user friendly and work well. Being in a standard Windows window would be a plus as well.

So, with that being said, anyone have any recommendations for tools to try?

Thanks!

MSi After burner (get the Version 4.0.0 as derder linked.

Another alternative is the

EVGA Precision X

Originally I OC GPU using MSi's, then tinkered with EVGA and they are pretty much the same. Just the UI difference, I find the MSi more attractive with the green and black + F35 Lightning logo and the UI is much more preferable compared to the EVGA but its just me, some folks like the EVGA more than the MSi one.

I would recommend MSi's though + RivaTuner (you can monitor statistics you want like GPU temps, memory temps, gpu clock, memory clock, cpu temp and clock etc. or what ever you wanna monitor on OSD) whilst playing. I don't recommend overvolting if your new to it. Just do changes to the GPU clock and Memory clock and let the software adjust the power (also make sure your power limit is at 100% with the temperature limit at 79).
