I was thinking about making this for a little project, maybe do a bit of gaming etc. Would it all fit together and all work together? Many thanks

Yes, it will. But I have to say that PSU is bad and why you have chosen such a weak GPU to pair your i5 beast? Also I personally would pick another HDD which could be Seagate Barracud 1TB (ST1000DM003) or Western Digital Caviar Blue with same capacity.

Thanks for your reply. I'm only looking to spend about £500 and I liked the i5. I guess i could downgrade it and get a better PSU and GPU. What GPU would you suggest?

This is balanced gaming build for you. CPU is worse then i5, but it could be overclocked easily (+ aftermarket cooler for this) and it would perform as i3. GPU is far better then one you picked, it's like day and night. With this GPU you will be able to play at high-ultra settings in most modern games at 1080p. So for me this build looks perfect for the price. It's from the same website that you used.
