Hello,
I'm planing to buy a 1 TB internal Hard Disk for my gaming desktop. I heard WD black is good for gaming but it's not only about a single brand, i need some good suggestion about Internal Hard Disk Brand's & it's compatibility. Though i use my desktop for hours n hours. The Hard Disk should be well performed & can handle my desktop overall ( other miscellaneous work's).
Thank you.

well wd don't recommend black drives for raid I think its just the red they prefer you to use for that [this is stated on there site] blacks have the better warrantee over the blue and I think red .. as I said above all I use is black and had 2 that seemed to go bad in 14 years one was in a old lan party rig that got moved around a lot from friends house to friends house and the other was in a raid set up so there you have it on that
Seagate well I see a lot of threads here on them over wd .. I don't use them , but that's just me

Hitachi is now part of wd

what drive has most issue posts here at toms ...
I use wd blacks and been good for me so i'm sure you should be fine with one

but like with all brands theres all ways that chance you could get a lemon

wd for me on a rma or replacement of a drive that seemed to go bad [2 in 14 years] that's still under warrantee has been nice and painless with them and replaced

I agree with your answer but i need more information about the WD: Blue, Green, purple, Red & Black & Seagate Barracuda too before a final purchase because i'm that kind of person until my satisfaction fulfilled a conclusion doesn't come. Frankly speaking(Don't Mind, if you) According to your answer i feel not so sure cause i already heard from other's that Black faced a problem: Reason- Not Working. Still i'm waiting for more reply.
Thank you.
