How powerful of a psu would I need to run a 7950 with my current setup?

How powerful of a psu would I need to run a 7950 with my current setup?

Here is the PC I currently have I know I will need a much more powerful psu for obvious reasons.

I also plan to upgrade to a better case with three fans.

750w Antec or Corsair PSU, must be bronze + certified

First thanks for trying to help me. Question: Would the xfx 550 be enough to power it? I have heard some people say that you need a 600watt at least.

A Radeon HD 7950 needs 25 amps on the 12v+ rail and a 500 watt power supply and 2 - 6 pin PCIE power connections.

The XFX 550W has the needed connections and 44 amps on the 12v + rail.

The XFX 550W is more than sufficient to power your specs.

get the xfx power supply. its by far the best quality power supply you can get in its wattage and price range.

One other question: Can I run two monitors using the 7950 with that 550 watt ?

Yes you should be fine , the XFX has enough power for the setup.

For what it's worth, I pull about 270W max from the wall while gaming. i5-4690, 7950, 660W 80+platinum PSU.
