Hi guys,
i've just bought 2 Asus R9 290 OC.My EVGA z97 FTW has 4 Pci slots but its a two way SLI motherboard and support crossfire.My problem is that i cant install 2 of my grapic card side by side as they are too big,so i have to skip one 8x pci slot for the 2nd card and install the graphic card on the 4x pci slot.So my plan is to install one graphic on the 16x slot and the other one on the 4x slot.would that be ok?.Thanks in advance

Should be fine. The speed of PCI-e 3.0 should mitigate a bottleneck for those cards. There may be a slight degradation in performance, but nothing to drastic. Best way to know is to hook it up and run FireStrike, then compare your score.
