Hi, I need some help building a computer for under $800, I will be using adobe programs, 3D programs, and will have to render projects.
I need to purchase everything, i'm not too sure which parts will be the best, especially with GPU.

OS -
CPU -
MB -
PSU -
GPU -
RAM -
CD/DVD reader/writer -
CASE -
HDD -
SSD - Maybe?

I think that is everything I need? I would like to get a more portable case that I can take home on the weekends. Please and thank you!

yea, hard to build on a budget, thank you for the feedback.
One question though, why that motherboard?

This is a decent motherboard within that budget range.

That cpu doesn't have hypthreading, so he would have to get this cpu to get i7 performance.

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($248.98 @ SuperBiiz)

I would just suggest getting a nvidia quadro graphic card instead of a geforce gtx unless u r planning to play some games too. A quadro k2000d perhaps. I know it will be out of your budget but surely it will help in ur rendering. I personally have a quadro it improved rendering. Also, increase the RAM to about 16g or 32gb in future if currently not possible, its surely worth ur money.
Hey one more thing, the motherboard doesn't have usb 3.0 header but the case have ports(if usb 3.0 matters).

Agreed. Unfortunately that will cross his budget. Seems like he has to stick with AMD then.

I had wanted to give him 16 gigs but his budget is too limited to build a rendering rig.
