Hey here is my pc
Procesor:Amd fx 8320 vishera
Motherboard: Asrock extreme 3 fx990
Ram: 8x2 ddr3 hyperx fury 1866mhz
Cpucooler:Antec h2o 1220 wattercooler
550w power supply colorful (not very popular)

Problem is when i overclock my ram frequency is change from 1866 to 1100 or someting like that and i dont find 1866 when i try to put back.
What can i do?

Also is right if i just go up to 4.2 or 4.0 ghz without change the votages?

Set your RAM manually to the desired speeds and timings.

All CPUs are different. Some might reach 4.0 with stock voltage, some might not. Part of overclocking is learning the best balance between frequency and voltage. I managed an overclock to 4.4 GHz at 1.38v on air. Try overclocking only with the multiplier and slowly increase the voltage when it becomes unstable.

Also, I would not recommend you to overclock the FX-8320 with that power supply...
