remove 10k drives and install 15k drives live server

i have a dell R720 svr with 10k sas 4 drive.raid 5 and redhat os using.

i need to change my 10k drives to 15k(meaning remove all 10k drives and install 15k drives).now runing sql svr and it has a data.so what is the best way for this upgrade.

some body told me remove first drive and install 15k drive.after buil raid again remove second 10k drive and install 15k drive.

this way good or not?
 
Solution
Step 1 would be to perform a full backup of the array.
That procedure will work but will take a long time (dependant on the size of the array) but will not require server downtime. It also puts your data at risk since a drive failure during this rebuild time will lose the array and all the data on it - hence why we always have step 1.
