Internet problems but there is signal

I am using google chrome. Win 7 professional. I go on a site and it loads up as check your connection. I unplug the internet dongle and plug it in and it works fine for ~10mins and then does the same thing... Please help. 
check the lan cord and try a different one to see if it works ....
check if there is a driver problem in windows (download the lan drivers for your pc and reinstall them ..
try the lan on another pc and see if the problem happens
