The CPU planed for this scenario is gonna be Intel Intel Xeon E3-1241 (over i5 because it has Hyper-Threading and i'm also getting a dedicated video card) and simply as the title puts it , I'm wonderig which of these two can deliver the best performance all around .
Is the Maximus worth the price difference ?

the xeon is a great option!. since there isnt overclocking ability with such cpu i cannot see any benefit with these boards other than the ability of running more than one gpu! both are very good. i would by the cheaper one.!
