I recently built a computer and had everything working. Then my new CPU fan came in so i could replace the stock fan. This required to disassemble everything so I could mount the back plate on the bottom of the motherboard. When i reassembled everything and turned on the computer i am now getting a message that Says the CMOS date/time is not set. press f1 to accept defaults or f2 to go into bios. My keyboard is not being recognized so i can't choose either option. Also on the message it displays the correct amount of RAM and what CPU is on the motherboard. Also the GPU is working if it is displaying on my monitor which leads to me to believe that it is not a short circuited motherboard but i do not know what to do. i resat the CMOS battery which is only a week old and was working. If anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them. Thanks. Also the motherboard is an ASROCK 970 extreme4

Hi, Check the contacts in the battery socket. Make sure that they touch the battery.

I did. I took out the battery and then resat it in the socket, every thing looked fine in there
