Hey! I was wondering if it was possible to reuse Windows 7 from my laptop on a PC I was planning on building. The OS came pre installed on my laptop. Thanks

no you cant transfer windows 7 ..you can transfer the files you use like programs but not the os .. if you do a clean install you will need a seperate product key from microsoft

You can only reuse Retail Windows keys and sometimes OEM keys that you purchased when building a computer. Otherwise the license key for purchased machines are bound to the motherboard of the system they were installed on. So if you sell that notebook the OS license key goes with it.
