The FX 8150 build should not even be considered, as the CPU is horrible, and would bottleneck those graphics cards. I modified your Xeon build to give you a system that would be superior to all 3 of them for gaming, and would do your editing and rendering very well also.

Nice build concept and more powerful graphically . Might depend on the monitor being used if its worth it I suppose , but that is also true of the single GTX980 build as well .

The TX3 air cooler is wasted money IMO . Too small , too useless .
The Hyper 212 is a much better substitute

Blue RAM , red mb?

The TX3 is not too small or too useless. I have used on before, have you? Does ram vs board color really matter in a case without a window? No it does not.

No need to go for that memory. 1600 CL9 is more than enough.

Its not exactly a high performance cooler , so to spend $20 on it when $30 gets you a 212 just doesnt seem like good value to me

Of course RAM color makes no damn difference to performance ... but every time I opened the case I would want to be reminded of how thoughtful my selections were so I always do try and match the components .And why not . It wont cost more
