Kind of backwards approach there, buying the parts, and then asking us if you got good parts. Much better to ask, then buy.

Moving on, as stated the PSU is bad.

All power supplies are not created equal. There is no requirement that a PSU has to be tested to supply the power on the sticker. A cheap power supply is like a cheap $80 car amp claiming it can output 1600watts; if it ever gets near that wattage you will smell something burning real soon. Never go cheap on the part that can destroy everything else!
