Hi All. I have an old ibm xseries 36688632RU server which has only PCI-X (266MHz, 64-bit) slots.
I need to add a RAID card to the system but most of the RAID cards that are compatible with Windows Server 2012 are PCI-Express interface.

Are there any converters that convert a PCI-X slot into a PCI-Express slot?
I found one (model: pcix1pex4) but it is priced in the $130-$150 range...which is really expensive.
Any suggestions??
THank you in advance for your advice.

Thanks for your response. Looks like you just got me one step closer.
To clarify, I have Six Active PCI-X 2.0 (266MHz, 64-bit) slots in my server. No PCI or PCI-E.

Would the second option (model:N82E16815158190 , the PCI to PCI-E converter) work on a PCI-X ?
I have a LSI MegaRAID 9240-8i (PCI-E x8) with me that I intend to use.

Also: Does this model seem like the PCI-X to PCI-E converter that I am looking for?

Here is the same device for 115

Here is an adapter that could meet your needs as well:

It uses an available PCI slot. Really depends on the RAID adapter you intend to use.

No, the item you linked is only for 1 specific board.

The first adaptor ($115) may work, but the second one is X1 and you most likely can't run the x8 RAID controller on it (and it would be slow if you did). PCI-X slots usually are backward compatible with PCI.
