gtx 660 sli, fx 8320 wheres the bottleneck?

ive got a gtx 660 (gigabyte GV-N660OC-2GD) and a fx 8320 (can push it to 4.2ghz) wondering if i get another 660 for christmas where the bottleneck will be? ive only got 4gb RAM at the moment so im expecting a flaming here lol (upping it to 8gb hopefully before christmas) thanks in advance peeps ;)

The CPU would be the bottleneck in SLI but with a single GTX 660 the GPU is the bottleneck.

ok thanks for the quick reply, what kind of cpu overclock would level it out a bit do ya reckon?

i have pushed it to 4.8ghz in the past

I suppose 4.4GHz should do well enough. Just about any CPU would be the bottleneck though but the intel CPU's will almost always get the best FPS.

4.4ghz is sound,thanks again, cant afford an intel platform, maybe i'll ask the missus in about 5 years lol cheers m8
