Hello, i have to often lock my computer win+l. Once i lock the screen it turns the display off and it's all ok, but... It's going like that for something like ~5 times and then the display doesn't turn on back again. Nothing won't work, but restarting computer, even pc power button won't do anything except i hold it for a few seconds. Thanks for any help in advance, i've been searching about it all over the internet but just couldn't find the solution.

Common cause of the display not turning on after sleep.
1- USB keyboard, the BIOS is set to turn the USB port completely off during sleep.
2. the BIOS has a setting turned off> look for something like "Repost vga after s3" and make sure it is turned on.
when the system tells the gpu card to go to sleep it will stop sending signals to the monitor. Many of the newer monitors also have a sleep circuit that you can set via its firmware. The monitor will go off some time after it stops getting a signal from the GPU.

the BIOS setting will make the system send a signal to the monitor to wake it back up after s3 (it is a sleep mode)
that way your gpu will start working and your monitor will wake up. if it is disabled your Gpu will wake but your monitor might not until you power cycle your monitor or unplug the video cable and plug it back in.

holding the power button down for several seconds tells the computer to do a FULL boot and it should act like you cut all the power and started a cold boot.
(reinitialize all the hardware for initial power on state)
