Nexus 5 connection problems

I have a nexus 5, and have been trying ot connect it to my router. My router has a WPA/WPA2 PSK password protected, so basically I have to enable specific devices to use my WiFi, but for some reson it won't recognize my nexus 5, after i've put in the MAC address.

WPA/WPA2PSK doesn't really have anything to do with Mac address filtering the router does.
You might want to examine the routers logs before and after making a connection attempt but first delete the existing stored connection info from the phone so that you have to find the network, connect, and input the password all over again.
