I need opinions and help, I originally didn't want to spend over 1k but I also didnt want to compromise on getting the Intel I3 and restrict what I can do so my budget is around $1,200,

Questions: Will I need more Ram? I don't want to upgrade to the I7 but should I get the I5-4590K to overclock it?

Use: General use, internet, word, use of multiple adobe products (photoshop, illustrator etc...) hardly any gaming (max age of empires 3)

The purpose you have mentioned the PC is an overkill the ram is more than enough and you are getting 1866 mhz memory on a board which supports upto 1600mhz anyways the extra mhz doesn't really matter you will not notice any difference in performance.

I have edited your build hope you like it.

For photoshop you'd probably benefit going with an AMD FX 8350 or 9590 or an Intel Xeon E3 1231 V3 which is basically an i7 without integrated graphics. If you can afford it i'd go for the Xeon.

For the PSU i'd look at the 520w Antec HCG, it's a lot cheaper

for Photoshop a locked i5 is more than enough even an i3 is good for Photoshop .

I have used Photoshop cs6 in my old PC with 2 gb ram ddr2 and core 2 duo 2.8 processor and it worked with no problem.

Yeah you are right, a Xeon is massive overkill unless the OP wants to do much heavier editing. I'd still probably go for an FX series over an i5 for what he want to do though, it handles multi-tasking and editing processes a bit better than the i5.

I've already looked into AMD and originally I was going for it but with the intel I can upgrade at a later point

No reason for an AMD build or micro ATX build. If he were video editing I would say otherwise.
