Solution
The efficiency doesn't really matter with PSUs. What matters is the quality of the PSU. Seasonic makes solid units. Going with a gold rated PSU might save you at most a few dollars at the end of the year.

I would go with the 620W for the extra wattage.

I would advice against a Corsair CX or VS series PSU. Corsair CX and VS PSUs use lower quality capacitors which tend to die around the warranty end period. I would advise to get a 500W Seasonic, Be quiet! (Avoid their gaming series), Corsai AX, TX, HX, RM series, XFX Pro/Core series, Rosewill Capstone, Enermax Thriathlor, Cooler Master VSM (and only VSM, other Cooler Master PSUs are very bad). There are just on tip of my mind

They are okay. Without serious overclocking they should hold up fine, but there are better units out there which are similarly priced.

Could you recommend one, that would give me a little room for overclocking, and upgrades. I'm also looking for semi/fully modular cables. If not, would the Corsair CSM series psus, be any better. only other ones I see with what I just listed that are similarly priced. I'm looking at the [550 watt model](https://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cs550m)

edit: sorry thought this was the same formatting as reddit, dint know how to put links properly here. :)

Heres a i5 build with better cpu, faster ram(which makes the cpu faster in this case), 750w psu so you can add extras, more roomy case for water cooling/big air coolers.
