Hey,
I just moved into a new house. We set up a modem and router(with wireless) downstairs. We have our main office down there, however I am putting my mini office with my desktop in a walk-in closet upstairs. My desktop doesn't have a WiFi card or USB yet, so I am wondering what the best way to get fast internet would be, because I do some gaming and want fast and reliable internet.

What I do have is an extra router(I have two Netgear N3000s I think, one already used downstairs). Is there any way to plug that in upstairs, have it catch the WiFi signal, and allow me to plug my desktop into the router? I am not familiar with setting up any of that stuff, so I don't know if that even exists. Or should I just buy a wireless card or USB?

When I take my laptop into my closet upstairs, it gets the full 5 bars of connection, so the signal strength seems pretty good. If I should go with a USB or wireless card, which one should I go with, and what device in particular? I really want reliable connection, I don't want to be disconnected from online games or anything. I have USB 3.0 if that matters at all.

Thanks for the help!

My setup:
Radeon XFX R9 270X
Radeon FX-6300
1.5TB HDD
Gigabyte AM3+ motherboard
EVGA 500W Bronze Certified PSU

I would say get a USB or PCI/PCIe wi-Fi adapter as they're kinda cheap and unless you wnat to route cables from the main router to a secondary one, an adapter would be the thing to get.
