why does local drive grow after deleting files?

this week i decided to delete unnecessary files in order to free up space on my drive. This morning my local drive's used space was 133gb and now after everything i deleted i have 167 gb used space. Not sure how to resolve this issue.

Hi there dapoloboi,

I would advise you to run a virus scan. This might be a possible reason. Are you storing only media on the drive or programs and games as well?
You can also run disk clean up: right click on My Computer -> Properties -> Disk Cleanup.
