I'm about to buy Skyrim on my PC after playing it on my Xbox mainly for the funny and beautiful mods for the game. I'm going to be using the Towns and Villages Enhacement mods as well as Lush Grass, pure water and the Better Dynamic Snow mods.

My specs are:

AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz

PowerColor HD 7850 2gb 1000MHz core clock

Corsair Vengeance 8gb RAM

More about : run skyrim graphics mods 1920x1080

Yes it will definitely be able to run it, just make sure you don't use ENBs because they will murder your system. Otherwise you will get very acceptable fps, and happy gaming!

How much fps? I would like to maintain at least 59-60fps or higher. But i forgot to mention that i'm gonna be playing the game at 1920x1080.

Without mods, you should be able to run it ultra with 4xAA 16XAf and get to 60 fps no problem. Since you aren't using heavy mods (2k textures), lowering settings to high should keep you above 60. You might have to play around with draw distance, but I'm guessing high will give you the 60 fps sweet spot.

Alright man, thank you!

I'll let you know how it performs. Sometimes i can underestimate the power of either my PC, or the power of good game optimization so i might actually get splendid performance if i'm lucky :D ! But then again, Bethesda does know how to make their games run well in general (minus Fallout 3, though that was a great game too).

you can use boris's original enb with most of its effects disabled. it will inject smaa which is much more performance friendly compared to skyrims 4xMSAA or using the amd control center to force 4xMSAA. it uses its own anisotropic filter too. it also has memory management that very effectively reduces skyrims vram usage issues.

its at the bottom... v0.264

here is the incomplete documentation, mainly you just want to enable its AA and AF and turn memory management on for best possible performance.

as long as you dont go too crazy with graphical mods, things like huge 4k texture packs, you should have no problem getting 60fps with your fx6300+hd7850.

but at the very least you should go to nexus and get the latest unofficial skyrim patch. they are pretty well updated, also if you have the official add ons get the patches for each add on.

I won't be using ENB. But do i need to download a mod manager in order for Skyrim mods to work despite coming from the workshop?

A mod manager will help a lot, simply installing some mods is a pita. Most mods on nexus are nexus mod manager friendly, you'll see which ones easy enough. I'd also highly recommend you use Boss at least. Sometimes mods will come into conflict due to load order (looks like a shopping list and yes they really do load in that exact order). Boss will sort out most mods for you. Some ppl may recommend Wrye Bash too. It's a pretty complicated program, but if you figure out its uses, it works well as a mod manager, bash installer, conflict finder etc. And do not forget SKSE, very important for many mods.

I had a rough start with the vanilla game, the cart kept crashing and the horse would die, so fast mod was alternative start :)  Then I got a good look at the vanilla women, and went mod shopping again. I also had Vilja in Oblivion, so that came next, but in skyrim her mod is huge comparatively, and has added many hours of game play, which I found to be a welcome distraction to the basic storyline. I have over 200+ hrs and I'm actually still working on her stuff lol. Unlimited rings/amulets, more hairstyles, better lookin ppl, killers weapons and much better armor..... Oh yeah, hah, mods are a sweet spot, and get addicting.

Like to add my thanks to all who wrote them.
