Can I move my documents from old computer to new via wifi

I have new 8.1 HP computer that I need to move old "stuff" too, is it possible to do this using my wi-fi network connection? (I don't want to blow the new one-but nothing works on XP any longer) Help-forever grateful ...

use google drive it free it an online storage drive (15g) after you install the software it shows up under file manager as google drive you then drag and drop the files you want to save onto google drive then go over to the new pc and copy them from google drive onto your pc.

either that or if the drive type from the old will fit in the new, all you need to do is put it in the new computer (providing is the same like sata ) connect the cables and will show up as another drive on new computer.

same situation done for a friend of mine...though we laughed when done 75gb hd as a secondary drive but all info was there
