8 pin to 4 pin cpu

I have a solid 8 pin (not 4+4) cpu block and im planning to buy an asus motherboard which only has a 4 pin cpu connector. Is there an adapter that can put my 8 pin to a 4 pin?

the right cables are ones that are 4 by 4 so you can use 1/2 of the cable.

What PSU do you have?

You can usually split the 8 pin into 2 - 4 pins.

You can just plug the 8-pin in as long as there are no physical obstructions.
