Hi all,
I am upgrading my computer (Mobo & CPU) and wanted your advise on whether my current power supply will be compatible. My current power supply is the ETASIS ET850 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...). On paper it looks that it will be compatible but I wanted to check as this will be my first ever build.

I've had the power supply for about 5 years now with absolutely no issues.

I plan to build:

Motherboard:
Asrock Z87 Extreme 4

CPU:
i5 4690k

CPU cooler:
Noctua NH-D14

Gcard:
GeForce GTX 650Ti Boost 2GB

RAM:
2x 4GB (DDR3)

Thanks,

I highly recommend you to replace that power supply. 5 years old, damn.. It could stop working and possibly damage your new any time by now.

the issue also is that older units cant output the low voltage needed for haswell or brodwell cpu. that why intel and power supply companies have a long list of tested units.

I was afraid you would say that! it's just that I am working on a budget and thought I could save there. I had bought a top of the range model back then to allow for some degree of future proofing.
Smorizio, you mention low voltage output, how much would that be? My current power supply gives:
100 - 240 V 47 - 63 Hz
+3.3V@28A,+5V@30A,+12V1@18A,+12V2@18A,+12V3@18A, +12V4@18A,-12V@0.5A,+5VSB@3.0A

Thanks
