Hello, I am designing a Windows 7 Laptop from HP and I found the PC I want, but I want to know which CPU is better for video editing

The 2 choices I have are:

The first one, it has 2X the number of cores and a higher frequency.

For sure the first one. Much better processor. Temps might come into play but it will still outperform the other by a bunch.

First one as the second one is an ulv which are made to save on battery life rather than performance.

I am guessing the second one is an Ultrabook, they're generally designed for performance within a very low power window.

The first one is your best option, and will significantly outperform the second in your tasks.
