Hello all,

I am going to get a new mobo, cpu and ram in the near future and I want a 4790k....Devil's Canyon FTW! I will be upgrading from a 2600k sandy bridge as I'm selling my friend my current setup.

This will be my first plunge into Gigabyte mobos, but after giving ASUS 9 years I figured it's worth a try...also my 2 GTX 970s from Gigabyte have phenomenal build quality and I figured I should try out their mobos next.

Problem is that I can't decide which to go with. There are a ton of options, which is usually a good thing for consumers, but I'm overwhelmed. I usually don't mind paying a lot for quality and the Gigabyte Gaming G1 mobo looks phenomenally nice:

But I notice a lot of reviews saying the ultra durable series is a great bang for the buck, especially for the "black" edition:

So what's the real difference between all of these? Especially with the gaming g1 boards which seem to have the "Ultra durable" tag on the box still. Are the gaming mobos ultra durable tested for the 168 hours and happen to have special gaming features? What are these gaming features? If it's that quad core sound chip then I don't care as I have an Asus Xonar Essence STX...so is there any other reason to get the gaming mobos? Just wondering which route to go...

Thanks!
