So I bought this mouse from amazon, its a wireless optical mouse. And then I just bought a laptop along with it at first everything is smooth until recently the brand new laptop would malfunction, like the keyboard would stop working and I can't open any software without it asking for my permission even if its a simple browser which is weird and then I couldn't open my task manager the only solution is to restart my laptop but the problem would come back.

At first I thought it was the laptop so I contacted amazon to get a refund and just buy a different brand of laptop. After I sent the laptop back I was forced to use my mom's laptop which doesn't have a mouse so I had to use the mouse that I bought from amazon, plugged it in and after a few hours it did the same thing, the keyboard stopped working and In can't open software without asking for my permission by then I already suspected the mouse from amazon so I then used another mouse which is wired, and sure enough the laptop didn't malfunction like it did before.

Now I'm using this laptop from Asus using the mouse that I suspect is giving me all this problems, and just a few days with the laptop while using the mouse the keyboard suddenly stopped working, it's really annoying and since I don't know if this mouse is causing any permanent damage to my laptop I'm really getting paranoid.

I searched around the internet about USB mouse infected by virus but I don't know, they say its impossible, right now I just want to replace this mouse but I still want to know what in this mouse is causing this annoying problem.

EDIT: I was thinking this might be a driver compatibility issue, is there anyway I can solve this?
